What is an upholstered wall?

It is a wall that is furnished with a textile or leather covering that contains upholstery. Upholstery is a technique for padding a surface such as furniture or a wall. Traditionally, this padding is punctuated by upholsterer's nails, which are regularly  placed. This creates a grid pattern that enhances this soft and comfortable surface.

Today there are new methods of padding a wall. Decorative wall cushions are an ideal solution that makes upholstery affordable for everyone. In fact, all you need to do is glue these wall cushions directly to the surface you want to cover. It is the side-by-side installation and stacking that creates this modern upholstered wall.

This decorative wall panel consists of a medium MDF base on which a textile is stretched and stapled. This contains the upholstery.

The advantages of the upholstered wall panel

Easy to install

The cushions are simply glued to the wall and easy to handle. Just a few dots of glue on the back of the panel are enough to stick them to the wall with a simple pressure.

To make the panel removable, it is possible to fix it with a double-sided self-adhesive scratch strip. Stick one side to the wall and the other to the cushion.
